Ralf Hillenbrand, one of the Hillenbrand “dynasty” and one of the best junior members of the German national team in crossbow field. He gained silver medals in world championships in 1998 (Hungary) and in 2000 (New Zealand , single). He was European champion in 1999 (Croatia) and in 2001 (Czech Republic). He also gained 4 titles of world champion with his team as well as two European titles. His world records in the juniors' competition in the European championship in 2001 (Czech Republic) are impressing: he achieved all six world records. It is hardly possible that any junior competitor will beat that in the future. Right behind Ina Schmidt he is the most successful German (and world) crossbow field shooter in the junior categorie. He gained a bronze medal in the Netherlands in the European championship in 2005 in men's competition. |
