Jürgen Baumann, is one of the best male members of the German national team in crossbow field. He was world champion in 1996 ( Taiwan ) and in 2000 (New Zealand). He was European champion in 1995 (Portugal) and in 2003 indoor (Belgium). He gained silver medals in European championships in 1999 (Croatia) and in 2001 (Czech Republic). He set world records several times and as member of the German national team he also gained several medals in European and world championships. Right behind Walter Hillenbrand he's the most successful German crossbow field shooter.
